That’s a wrap on Logistics Tokyo Tech 2025! After months of preparation, the event is over in what feels like a blink of an eye. As a first-time exhibitor at this incredible show, I can say the experience was every bit as insightful and energizing as I had hoped. The sheer scale of Tokyo Big Sight and the quality of conversations were truly inspiring.
First, a heartfelt thank you to every single person who took the time to visit our booth, ask questions, and share their challenges. After reflecting on countless conversations, I wanted to share my top three takeaways from the event.
Takeaway 1: Integration Isn’t a Feature, It’s the Foundation
The conversation has shifted. Five years ago, the “wow” factor was a robot that could move on its own. Today, the conversation is all about systems. The most common question I heard was not “What can your AMR do?” but “What can your AMR connect with?” Businesses are no longer looking for standalone solutions; they are looking for a fully integrated ecosystem. This confirmed for me that our focus on deep integration allowing our AMRs to talk to elevators, doors, and other machinery is exactly what the industry needs to take the next leap in productivity.
Takeaway 2: Automation is About Empowering People
Amidst all the talk of robotics and AI, the most important element remains the human one. I spoke with operations managers, floor supervisors, and engineers who aren’t looking to replace their workforce. They are looking to empower them. They want to automate the repetitive, physically demanding transport tasks so their talented teams can focus on problem-solving, quality control, and other high-value activities. It was a powerful reminder that the goal of automation should always be to elevate human potential. Yet in this Japanese market AGV is leading the race.
Takeaway 3: The Future is Now, and It’s Already Getting Smarter
This year was all about intelligence. The buzz was less about hardware and more about the software that makes it all work. Fleet management, real-time route optimization, and proactive communication between robots (like our X-SWARM technology) were the hot topics. It’s clear that the industry is moving towards systems that don’t just follow commands, but think, learn, and collaborate to create the most efficient environment possible.

This year was an incredible learning experience, and it has already sparked dozens of ideas for the future. The energy from the show has left our entire team motivated and focused on what’s next.
And speaking of what’s next, we are thrilled to announce that we will be back for Logistics Tokyo Tech 2026! Be sure to mark your calendars for September 8-11, 2026.
Thank you again for making my first LTT an unforgettable one. The conversations don’t have to stop herefeel free to connect with me on LinkedIn to continue the discussion. See you next year!
